Duplicate street names

You can’t make this stuff up….I’m at the corner of Spring and Spring. If I’m going to 8 Spring Street for example, which one? How can you tell when there are 2 street names with the same exact name? And what does this have to do with home inspections in Essex County?

Houses are supposed to have numbers that are visible from the street for police, firemen, post office, and deliveries.

As a general and important rule, a house is supposed to have numbers that are visible from the street, generally 3.5 inches tall.
